That time of year is upon us again! Time to break out your instant camera and get shooting!
Once again we are taking part in the Capture Photography Festival for our Project Instant show. Science World has kindly loaned us a great space again this year too! This has been a wonderful venue to show off the science of instant film and allow everyone’s images to be on display. In the past we’ve had a high level of participation and a great turn out for the opening night. We hope that everyone will help spread the word again this year so we can put on the best Project Instant show yet!
Here are the details:
The exhibition will run from April 4th – May 13th, 2018 at Science World.
Opening night is April 4th, from 6 – 8 pm at Science World in the Aurizon Atrium. This is a FREE event open to everyone!
Submissions can be dropped off or mailed in to Beau Photo Supplies. There is an entry fee of $15.00 + GST for submission of one to three photos. Photos can be framed or unframed.Please note: submission fees are non-refundable. Each Perason will have up to three images included in the show and a selection of entries will be chosen for framing and exhibition style hanging. Prizes will be awarded in several categories. All submissions must be received to Beau Photo by 5pm Tuesday, March 20th, 2018.
There will be prizes awarded in the following categories:
• Polaroid Originals (Impossible) in-camera photo
• Fujifilm Instax photo (mini or wide)
• Instant film photo from an alternative film source eg: Polariod
, New 55
• Instant photo from digital source. eg: Impossible Instant Lab, Fujifilm Instax Share Printer
• Mixed media using instant film image or emulsion lift
• Alternative Print Method eg: digital output image from instant source
• Judge’s choice image
