This is probably the most utilitarian size of all Profoto’s softboxes. It is not too big as to be unmanageable and not too small to produce beautiful soft light.

The larger the light source is in relation to the subject, the softer the light will be. This is why Profoto makes rectangular softboxes in five different sizes. Profoto’s softboxes are designed to be a little deeper, allowing the light to bounce around a little for a more even light.
