New Rental Gear!

We have a few new items in the Beau Photo Rental Department this month – a couple of battery powered lights and a new camera! First, as written in our July newsletter, we have the new Profoto B20 & B30 lights, which are the replacements for their older B10X & B10X Plus models. The B20 is the replacement for the B10X 250W heads, and the B30 is the replacement for the B10X Plus 500W heads.  Both feature faster recycle times, a stronger modelling light and some new flash modes. *NEW* FUJIFILM X half

We also just received our new FUJIFILM X half point & shoot camera!  This new compact camera from Fuji features a unique portrait oriented 18MP, 1″ 3:4 sensor, reminiscent of the 35mm half frame cameras of long ago. The X half will also shoot video in the vertical format, great for the TikTok generation.  One of the things I love about Fuji cameras are the film simulation modes, which can be used to simulate Fuji films that are current film stock or discontinued stock for that bit of nostalgia. My personal favourites are the B&W Acros red filter & green filter modes, which give beautiful monochrome tones, just like the greatly missed Acros films.
