SDS Sheets

It is important to know what chemicals you are working with before you open any bottles and start working. SDS sheets are a way to find out what kinds of hazards exist when using these chemicals. They take some practice to know how to read, but it is worth it to educate yourself about everything you use. You can find out more about SDS sheets here.

This page has links to most of the SDS sheets for chemicals we carry here at Beau. These are for the chemicals as they are in the bottle. Ilford has created SDS sheets for working solutions of each chemical that can be found on their website at https://www.ilfordphoto.com/health-and-safety  If you don’t see what you are looking for, email us at film@beauphoto.com or try doing a Google search for the chemical

They don’t just apply to photographic chemicals, look for SDS sheets on many household and art products you might already be using. It is usually pretty easy to Google SDS sheets for any chemical, and it is worth knowing what you are working with.
