We are looking for the right candidate with proven experience managing social media for retail environments, arts spaces, coffee shops, or similar creative businesses—particularly on Instagram & Facebook. Applicants must include links to social media accounts, campaigns, or designs they’ve created or managed.

This position offers significant room for growth and the opportunity to help expand the online presence of one of Vancouver’s long-standing institutions of photography. Customer outreach is a key part of this role, and we’re excited to hear your innovative ideas for engaging and growing our community.

Position Overview
This is a full-time role combining social media management with in-store film sales and customer service.

Responsibilities:
Oversee and manage the store’s social media presence, working closely with the Beau Photo team to plan and create engaging content
Actively outreach to new customers through online platforms (e.g., engaging with photographer profiles, commenting, and offering promotions via direct messaging)
Stay current with social media trends, platform updates, and best practices
Deliver exceptional customer service at the film counter, including answering inquiries, processing orders, and resolving customer concerns

What We’re Looking For:
Outgoing, customer-focused personality
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Experience with social media platforms such as Instagram, Facebook (Meta), and TikTok
Retail experience (required)
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or CapCut is an asset

Compensation & Benefits:
Starting salary: $37,440 per year
