Camp Snap Camera
The Camp Snap is a small compact digital camera that weighs around 0.31 lbs. It is designed like a disposable film camera with no screen on the back and no settings to change. The only controls are the flash switch (on, off, auto) and the shutter button.
The camera can hold up to 2000 photos on its included 4gb microSD card. To transfer photos, simply plug the camera into a computer or smartphone using the USB-C to USB-C cable included.
You can also download different presets on the Camp Snap website. Camp Snap has four different presets to choose from: Standard, B&W, 101Clone, KodaClone (very saturated and contrasty), and Vintage (looks like film and has a desaturated look).
On the Camp Snap website you can also make you own custom presets. Since I’m not the biggest fan of colour I made my own very high contrast B/W preset, which is suppose to resemble one of my favourite B/W film stocks, Rollei Retro 400s.

The lens is a 35mm equivalent, with an 8mp F/1.8-F/4.8mm 1/3.2” sensor.
Shutter speed range between 1/30-1-250 sec, ISO 100-200 and it has a battery life of up to 500 shots.
The lack of screen or controls means that you are staying in the moment instead of trying to get the perfect photo, similar to shooting with a disposable film camera. I felt less self-conscious about the photo I took, and didn’t worry about whether I got ”the shot.”

The Camp Snap is the epitome of a fun camera. It’s something to give to a friend to take pictures with and laugh about later, a camera you can gift to anyone, of any age, regardless of their photography skills. The Camp Snap is more about the joy of taking the photos rather than printing high quality photos to frame.
