Overpaint Workshop

Join Nicole and Meghan at the store for an evening of exploring your creative side with your printed photos. This will be a very casual, fun event where everyone is welcome to try out different artistic mediums used to overpaint on printed photos.

What is overpainting? In this context, we are referring to overpainting as taking an existing print of your photo and applying watercolour or acrylic paint to it. Or perhaps drawing on it with markers or ink. This is the main focus of this event, however there are no rules here and you are most welcome to try out (almost) any type of overpainting or collage you would like! Feel free to bring any of your own supplies you would like to try out and share with the group. (Please no oil paints, or anything that has an offensive smell though!)

Ticket price includes two of your own photos that we will print for you to use in the workshop, as well as a range of art supplies to work with. Refreshments will also be provided. This event will take place in the store, but if it is nice we may also spend some time outside.

Once you have purchased a ticket you will be instructed to send in two files for us to print for you to use at the workshop. The paper we will be using has been kindly provided by Hahnemuhle.
