This adapter allows for full electronic integration of your Canon lenses with a Sony body, with working auto-focus, image-stabilization and aperture control. The interior of the adapter is coated with non-reflective flocking material, to offer the best possible flare resistance. It also includes an integral tripod foot with an Arca-Swiss compatible dovetail, so you can attach it directly to many different brands of tripod head, such as Arca Swiss (of course!), FotoPro, Sirui, Kirk, RRS as well as some Manfrotto and Gitzo heads too. If you aren’t using large lenses, the tripod foot can also be removed from the adapter to make it more compact.

Usage Tips: There is some variability in the autofocus performance of various Canon EF lenses when used with this adapter. Many lenses will essentially perform as reliably and quickly as they do on a native Canon body, whereas some lenses may have slower AF, or may not even autofocus at all.
That said, Metabones has been aggressively updating the firmware for this adapter to improve lens compatibility, focusing speed and more. It is worthing checking on their website on a regular basis to see if there is new firmware available. Here is a link to their firmware page…
We have this adapter available in our rental dept. here at Beau Photo, so you might want to consider testing one before buying, to ensure it works with your lenses to your satisfaction!
