It doesn’t matter if you are running your own photography business, are a photographic artist, a student getting into photography or someone who found an old film camera and want to start using it. We want to help you decide what is best for your needs. No hard sales tactics here. PHOTOGRAPHIC EQUIPMENT LOANS
If you purchase your gear from us and it has to go in for a warranty repair but you have an upcoming shoot – don’t despair. Our Rental Department will help out with 50% off the rental of the same (or similar) gear to help you get your job done. Ask us for details.
If you aren’t sure what equipment to buy, why not try renting it first? If you then decide that you do want that item, you can apply up to two days of your rental charges towards the purchase price. Contact us for details.
CONSIGNMENT & USED
We take in a wide variety of items on consignment and a result, that department keeps expanding. Bring us your old (and older) film cameras, outdated film, dslrs, lighting, grip gear, camera bags and we will look after getting everyone (buyer & seller) a fair price. Please call ahead of time to arrange for an appointment if you are looking to consign items.
FILM (is not dead)
We are pretty confident that have the widest selection of film on hand, in stock in all of Western Canada! Plus we are constantly scouring the Internet for new products. Please note that we can’t take returns on light sensitive materials or chemicals. Please ask us before you choose a product and we’ll make sure it is the right one for you.
ALBUMS & FOLDERS
We are proud to be the Canadian distributor of the masterfully hand-crafted Renaissance Albums from New York. In addition, we stock a large variety of photo presentation products from Canada (AGT Photomount) as well as the US (Tyndell & TAP Presentation products). Please note: all our albums & folders are for re-sale. We sell those products only to photographers – not end users. Any prices quoted are in Canadian dollars. We take debit, VISA, Mastercard and American Express.
If purchasing via credit card we are only able to ship to the billing address of the credit card holder. An address verification will be done to ensure that the information is correct. If is not, we will be unable to process your order.
We use a number of couriers and do our best to find the best value, both cost and time, to get your order to you. If you prefer, you can arrange to have your courier pick up on your behalf.
IN STORE PICK UP
In order to pick up an order placed over the phone or via email, the person who is paying for the order has to come in with their credit card and a photo ID. The order will not be released to anyone else.
We do our best to keep prices up to date but with the fluctuating dollar, it is sometimes hard.
Any prices quoted for an item are subject to change (up or down!) without notice unless you have received a quote with a specific deadline.
RETURNS & REFUNDS
All returns unless otherwise defective, are subject to a minimum 15% re-stocking fee. All returned items will be inspected for wear and tear. If the warranty cards are filled out and the boxes are damaged, there will be an additional re-stocking fee.
There are no returns on film or chemicals, opened software, special orders or printers where consumables have been installed. Please note, cash refunds can only be done up to $100.00. A refund cheque will be issued as soon as possible for amounts that exceed that amount.
USED OR CONSIGNMENT ITEMS
If you purchase an item that is found to be defective within the first 30 days, any used or consignment item may be returned for a 100% refund. If you are looking to consign items, please call us for an appointment.
There are so many wonderful photo products out there but we are unable to keep them all in stock. However, we would love to special order them for you. All special orders do require a 25% non-refundable deposit, or payment in full if under $100, prior to ordering.
Often with a new product announcement, many manufacturers require us to take a deposit on the item to hold it in a queue for you. Therefore, customers with deposits will have a higher priority on the wait list if the item is in short supply.
